But you may still not be getting interview calls! You know why this may be happening? After checking out your resume, the next thing any recruiter would do is go to LinkedIn and check out your profile.
And that’s where you may be losing the plot. That’s where most can’t understand what is going wrong with their job search efforts. Most believe they are prepared with a great resume. Much lesser know that they need even a pitch letter. And next to none really know or care about the importance of their LinkedIn profiles.
Well, almost all of them do have a LinkedIn profile. Even you would, don’t you? But aren’t most LinkedIn profiles more like “online resumes”? In fact, most work on creating their resumes first, and then replicating the same in LinkedIn.
